Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Reservation

A signed service agreement and the required non-refundable retainer are necessary to secure your wedding date. Dates are not reserved until both have been received.

2. Payment Terms

Payment schedules will be outlined in your service agreement. All payments must be made 1 month or before the stated due dates. Late payments may result in delays to planning services or cancellation of the agreement.

3. Non-Refundable Retainer

The initial retainer is non-refundable, as it secures your event date and covers the commencement of planning services.

4. Cancellation Policy

Should the Client cancel the event, all payments made prior to cancellation are non-refundable. Any outstanding balances for services already rendered remain payable.

5. Postponement & Date Changes

Requests to postpone or reschedule are subject to Dream Belize Weddings’ availability. Additional planning fees may apply if significant revisions are required.

6. Vendor Services

Dream Belize Weddings carefully recommends trusted vendors; however, each vendor operates independently and is solely responsible for the services they provide. We cannot be held liable for vendor delays, cancellations, or performance.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide accurate information, make timely decisions, review documents promptly, and submit payments according to the agreed schedule. Delays in communication may impact planning timelines.

8. Force Majeure

Dream Belize Weddings shall not be liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to hurricanes, flooding, pandemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, airline disruptions, or
other unforeseen events affecting the wedding.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid directly to Dream Belize Weddings for planning services. We are not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or delays caused by third-party vendors or circumstances beyond
our control.

10. Photography & Marketing

Unless otherwise requested in writing, Dream Belize Weddings may use professional photographs and videos from your wedding for our website, social media, and marketing portfolio.

11. Travel & Accommodation

For weddings outside Belize City or in remote locations, additional travel, accommodation, transportation, or ferry expenses may apply and will be discussed with the Client in advance.

12. Communication

Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday. We strive to respond to emails and messages within 24–48 business hours. Urgent wedding-day matters will always receive priority attention.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Belize, and any disputes shall be resolved within the courts of Belize.

14. Acceptance

By signing the Service Agreement and submitting the required retainer, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
